Yuri and Estelle continue their search for Flynn which eventually leads them to the mysterious Quoi woods. The two decide to go through the woods to get to Halure, the last place Flynn was seen at. Midway through the woods, Estelle starts longing for food and Yuri decides to give her a nia fruit he found earlier. With one bite, Estelle's face completely changes and is filled with disgust. She forcefully tells Yuri that the fruit tastes great but Yuri sees right through her. Continuing on their journey, the two along with Yuri's dog, Repede are stopped by a young boy. The boy tells them that the woods are dangerous and they should head back. Yuri shrugs him off and passes by. The boy, too scared to be alone in the woods decides to follow them. He introduces himself as Karol Capel, a member of the guild, the Hunting Blades. Once the group reaches Halure, they are told the news - Flynn has just left. Supposedly, he went to look for a way to heal the tree that acts as the barrier for the city. The tree has wittered and is on the verge of dying. Karol suggests they use a panacea bottle to revive the tree but unfortunately the supply of bottles has just run out. The four then decide to collect the items needed for synthesizing the bottle, nia fruit, luluria petal and an eggbear claw. They get the Luluria petal from the mayor, the nia fruit from the same place where Estelle ate one and the eggbear claw from defeating an eggbear.

Once Yuri, Estelle and Karol collected the materials, they went back to Halure and got their panacea bottle. Sadly, when used on the tree it does not work and the tree does not regain its former glory. Estelle, sadden, prays to the tree and uses her healing artes which surprisingly revives the tree. Yuri, Karol and everyone is amazed and thank her for the help. With the tree healed, the four decide to continue their search for Flynn.
