Estelle is first seen in the Zaphias' castle, when Yuri attempts to make his escape. As Yuri is slowly wandering through the castle, looking for an exit he stumbles upon a scene in the lobby. A girl, dressed in blue with her pink hair tied up is cornered. In her hand lies a sword and a shield. She demands that the knights let her leave the castle to inform Flynn due to him being in danger. Yuri, overhearing the news about his best friend's life possibly in grave danger fights off the knights. The girl is shocked and asks what is going on when he comes over. Yuri explains the situation and the girl immediately realizes that he is Yuri Lowell, Flynn's best friend. Yuri laughs, surprised that Flynn has talked about him to others. The two head to Flynn's room but it is empty. Just then, a mysterious man rampages into the room wanting to battle Flynn. Believing that Yuri is Flynn the two square off while the pink haired girl stays behind, healing Yuri whenever needed. The two fends the man off and makes their exit. While looking for a way out of the castle, the girl who introduces herself as Estellise requests they stop by her room so she can change into a different outfit. She goes into the room and comes out with a brand new dress. Her hair now let down, Estellise shows off her white, pink with stripes of yellow dress to Yuri.

The two continue their search and when they stumble across the angel statue the mysterious man Yuri met at prison mentioned. To their surprise there is a secret path located under the statue that leads to the sewer, eventually leading them to the outside. Once outside, Estellise is amazed at the brightness of the sun, being in awe. Yuri tells her to hurry up so they could quickly locate Flynn. Once back in the lower quarter, the Schwann brigade meets up with Yuri, demanding that he come back to prison with them. Yuri shrugs them off and takes Estellise towards the exit. Before leaving Yuri calls Estellise, "Estelle" once again leaving her in confusion yet she eventually learns to call herself by that name and requests everyone else to do so. With the help of Hanks, Yuri's friend the two manage to loose the brigade and head outside the city, outside the barrier, to a brand new journey.
